Medline Industries, LP in the United States seeks a Director of Accounting – Inventory & Fixed Assets to lead US accounting for inventory, product costing, and fixed assets, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance, strong controls, and accurate financial reporting.

You will guide multiple teams, drive process improvements, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and own the close calendar and audits, with significant senior-level collaboration and budget responsibility.

Qualifications

• CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.
• 8+ years in U.S. GAAP accounting, reporting, and analysis including inventory, costing, and fixed assets.
• 4+ years direct people-management experience in a large multinational setting.
• Extensive internal controls and SOX experience; remediation and change management.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Inventory, Product Costing, and Fixed Assets accounting teams in the U.S. and coordinate with global teams.
• Develop and mentor team members; set goals and provide regular feedback.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives, system implementations, integrations, and process improvements.
• Ensure internal controls are effective and accounting practices are consistent globally.
• Partner with auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits; own close processes and supporting schedules.
• Lead budgeting and resource planning for the department and major programs.
