Job summary

Intrax seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to expand the Intrax Global Internships network across the United States by identifying and securing employer partnerships for J-1 Intern and Trainee programs. The role emphasizes prospecting, relationship-building, and closing opportunities in STEM, business, marketing, and hospitality.

You will educate employers on J-1 requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage the full sales cycle, and ensure onboarding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of B2B sales, business development, employer relations, staffing, recruiting, or related.
• Proven success prospecting, generating leads, building pipelines, and closing opportunities.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and achieving performance goals.
• Experience selling services, workforce solutions, or consultative business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand host-organization networks and meet growth targets.
• Build a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting, social media, and events.
• Identify organizations whose workforce needs align with J-1 Intern and Trainee programs, especially in STEM, business, marketing, hospitality.
• Generate and qualify leads via calls, video meetings, email, LinkedIn, and in-person networking.
• Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and consultative sales conversations with prospects.
• Prepare proposals, partnerships, and responses to RFPs as needed; manage the full sales cycle to signed agreements.
• Negotiate terms and close new host-organization partnerships; onboard and support onboarding.
