Job summary

Children International seeks an Internal Communications Lead to partner with functional leaders, translating complex initiatives into clear, actionable messages for a global, multicultural workforce. You will guide strategy, content creation, and stakeholder engagement while advancing organizational priorities across regions.

Reporting to the Sr. Internal Communications Manager, you will manage multiple workstreams, advise leaders on messaging, and adapt plans as business needs evolve to build

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing/Advertising or a related field.
• Minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in internal communications or related field.
• Experience developing and executing communications plans that support organizational strategy and change.
• Experience communicating with global, multicultural audiences.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as internal communications partner for global and enterprise functions.
• Develops and advises on integrated communications plans for initiatives and change efforts.
• Manages communications projects from planning to execution and evaluation.
• Translates complex information into clear, audience-appropriate content for diverse audiences.
• Plans and facilitates stakeholder discussions and workshops to build alignment.
• Creates content and assets across channels including emails, SharePoint, presentations, and video.
• Equips leaders with tools, talking points, FAQs, and guides.
• Measures effectiveness and adapts approaches to evolving priorities.
