Job summary

Children International is seeking an Internal Communications Lead to partner with global functional leaders, developing and executing strategic communications that support organizational priorities and change initiatives. The role requires translating complex programs into clear, actionable content for a mult i-cultural workforce, managing workstreams and advising senior leaders across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing/Advertising or a related field.
• Six years of internal communications experience.
• Experience building and executing comms plans aligned to strategy and change initiatives.
• Experience with global, multicultural audiences.
• Strong English writing, editing and verbal skills; English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Strong PM, prioritization and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as internal communications partner for global/enterprise functions, aligning strategies to organizational priorities.
• Develops and guides integrated comms plans for initiatives and change efforts with clear audiences, messages, channels.
• Manages projects end-to-end with stakeholders, timelines and approvals.
• Translates complex information into clear, audience-appropriate content for diverse audiences across cultures.
• Plans stakeholder discussions and workshops to build alignment and support decision-making.
• Creates content and assets across channels (emails, SharePoint, presentations, leader materials, graphics, video).
• Equips leaders with talking points, FAQs and guides for effective delivery.
• Measur es and adapts comms approaches based on priorities and impact.
