Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a senior leader in risk management and insurance to own and optimize our global insurance program. You will shape risk strategy, manage policies, and lead claims while coordinating with Legal, brokers, and carriers across multinational operations.

The role requires deep expertise in insurance principles, international markets, and strong leadership to drive cost optimization and risk reduction in a fast-growing tech hardware company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of progressive risk management and insurance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in technology hardware manufacturing or distribution.
• Deep understanding of insurance principles, coverage types, and claims processes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement global insurance programs.
• Experience working with insurers, quotations, and client claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessment and mitigation across technology and global supply chains.
• Manage procurement and renewal of all insurance policies and maintain records.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal policies, including international regulations and data privacy standards.
• Lead claims management and coordination with legal, brokers, and carriers.
• Analyze insurance costs and prepare reports for senior management.
• Cultivate relationships with brokers, carriers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver risk training programs across the organization.
