Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to oversee global insurance programs and risk management initiatives. The role collaborates with Finance, Legal, EH&S, Procurement, and Real Estate to mitigate loss and optimize total cost of risk.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in risk management or brokerage, with a strong track record in property risk engineering, claims management, and contract reviews. Relocation is possible and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Firm understanding of property and casualty insurance, property risk engineering, and risk management concepts.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in finance, insurance and risk management or comparable degree.
• At least ten years’ experience in risk management, insurance and/or brokerage fields.
• CPCU and/or ARM insurance designation preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Insurance Program Management – manage all aspects of assigned insurance programs, including global property and crime insurance.
• Property Risk Engineering – oversee loss control and risk engineering services for properties and projects.
• Contract Reviews and Training – assist with contract reviews and provide training on insurance and risk management.
• Claims Management – manage claims and coordinate with counsel and vendors.
• Insurance Data Collection and Management – gather underwriting data and prepare renewal submissions.
• Insurance Budget & Reporting – assist with annual budget and stakeholder communications.
