Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Insurance Operations Specialist to support global new business and renewal submissions, gather information, and deliver submissions to underwriters.

You will also intake requests from IMA market offices and coordinate with international partners to ensure accurate premium and commission data. With a focus on accuracy and client service, you will maintain internal data entries, generate commission allocations for foreign revenues, and

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of similar or related experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Attains and/or maintains professional designation or license: CISR and/or CIC.
• Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Limited travel required (less than 25%).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, including gathering information and presenting submissions to underwriters.
• Intake service requests from IMA market offices and process or assign accordingly.
• Request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners.
• Verify and reconcile accuracy of premium and commissions; prepare commission statements.
• Policy and information entry of accounts for all internal and partner data systems.
• Act as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
• Create commission allocations for foreign revenues.
• Create account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for all submitted, sold and bound coverages.
• Interact professionally with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
• Respond in a timely, accurate and friendly manner to Producers, Practice Leads, Account Executives, Account Managers, and other internal associates.
• Support the department team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.
