IMA Financial Group in Overland Park, KS seeks an experienced insurance submissions specialist. You will prepare and market new business and renewal submissions, gather information, and deliver to underwriters.

You will also intake requests from IMA offices, manage data entry, and reconcile premiums and commissions with carriers and partners. The role requires 3+ years of related experience, a degree (or equivalent), and CISR/CIC designation, with proficiency in EPIC Applied Systems and MS

Formación

• At least 3 years of similar or related experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Attains and/or maintains professional designation: CISR and/or CIC.
• Intermediate EPIC Applied Systems experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Office products: Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Limited travel required (<25%).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Under moderate guidance, prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, gathering information and delivering submissions to underwriters.
• Under minimal guidance, intake service requests from all IMA market offices and process or assign accordingly.
• Request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners.
• Verify and reconcile accuracy of premium and commissions and prepare commissions statements.
• Responsible for policy and information entry of accounts for internal and partner data systems.
• Act as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
• Create commission allocations for foreign revenues.
• Create account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for all submitted, sold and bound coverages.
• Interact professionally with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
• Respond timely to Producers, Practice Leads, Account Executives, Account Managers and other associates.
• Support the department by completing duties required to service an account.
