Job summary

Worldpay is seeking an Inside Sales Representative II to join our e-Commerce Merchant Sales team in Cincinnati. You will generate prospective customers, nurture inbound leads, book appointments, and close sales to hit quotas.

You’ll work with field sales support, qualify leads, determine customer needs, and articulate product benefits while building strong customer relationships in a fast-paced, global payments environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of company products, services and business operations to enable resolution of customer inquiries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports initiatives of field sales organization and carries individual and/or team quotas shared with the field.
• Generate prospective customers and close sales generated through inbound leads, referrals, and partnerships.
• Books appointments for new prospects.
• Informs customers of promotions and upgrades, uses persuasive techniques to motivate customers and urges timely purchases to meet qualifications for discounts.
• Qualifies leads, identifies decision makers, determines customer needs, explains product/service alternatives, recommends suitable products/services, identifies features and benefits, overcomes objections and closes sales.
• May respond to inquiries and resolve problems.
• May attempt to cross-sell or up-sell each account.
• Prepares required sales documentation.
