Job summary

Atlas Copco Group, Bozeman, MT, is seeking an Inside Sales I to support the global sales team by handling quotes, inquiries, and pricing for standard and custom systems and components. You will work with engineering and service to drive sales, maintain Salesforce data, and help meet worldwide order targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, chemistry, physics, materials science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer-facing roles (preferably sales or business development for technical products).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the product line for industrial and academic research markets.
• Respond in a timely manner to incoming requests for quotations or technical inquiries related to potential sales globally.
• Provide price quotations and shipment lead times to sales staff, distributors, prospects and customers for standard and custom systems, after-sales maintenance, and components.
• Ensure quotes are accurate as to customer requirements and internal Montana Instruments part numbers.
• Collaborate with custom engineering and customer service to drive sales and support existing customers while minimizing change orders.
• Support sales administrative staff in processing incoming orders and cross-train for coverage.
• Occasionally attend workshops, conferences, and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends.
• Maintain data on customers, opportunities, and prospects in Salesforce and other platforms.
• Work with sales and service to meet or exceed global order bookings targets.
• Lead on A-Jobs and maintenance orders, such as Cold Head Hot Swaps (CHHS).
