Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of new build infrastructure and retrofit projects in our GEMS Organization. This role will lead a team of support personnel and align resources to hit timelines, budgets, and drive standardization across our network.

This role requires up to 80% nationwide travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Relocation assistance may be provided; candidates should live near or relocate within

Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience.
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL proficiency.
Experience cross-functional with tech and non-tech teams.
Construction or related field with budgets, scheduling, and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

Manage new and existing programs, delivering difficult projects across organizations.
Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, and milestones.
Own program communication, resolve blockers, escalate as needed.
Influence design and development of strategic processes.
Work with leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
Develop and govern execution of all functions of the program.
Report status and escalate issues to ensure on-time go-live.
