Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Global Policy Lead for Information Integrity to shape and refine policies addressing misinformation, civic integrity, and deceptive behaviors. You will collaborate with product, enforcement, legal, and policy teams to ensure clear, implementable standards aligned with platform safety goals.

As a senior IC, you will mentor policy managers, stay abreast of industry trends, and represent TikTok in cross-functional discussions with legal, public policy, and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Trust & Safety, platform policy, government, or related field.
• Global or multi-region knowledge in misinformation, election integrity, civic integrity, identity deception, coordinated inauthentic behavior.
• Excellent writing, editing, and executive communication skills; can simplify complex topics for executives and broad audiences.
• Strong policy judgment; can reason across multiple issue areas, product contexts, and risk trade-offs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, legal, operations, and other teams.
• Experience developing policy frameworks, principles, standards, or governance documents.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Comms, Operations, Enforcement, Public Policy, and Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and iteration of global information integrity policies across misinformation, elections, civic integrity, and related areas.
• Act as TikTok's senior IC on information integrity policies; mentor policy managers.
• Partner with Enforcement, Operations, and Product to improve moderation systems.
• Engage with Legal and Public Policy to ensure regulatory compliance and respond to requests.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to incorporate expert input into platform policies.
• Serve as a global escalation point and align stakeholders for emergency policy decisions.
• Stay current on industry trends and design policies to address emerging issues.
