Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Senior Security Investigator for Insider Risk within the Global Security Organization in San Jose. You will lead technical investigations into data exfiltration, privilege misuse, dual employment and related threats across regions.

You will analyze telemetry, conduct interviews, and produce reports aligned with global protocols while respecting local laws. This role collaborates with Legal, HR, Engineering, PR and Policy to drive remediation and prevent incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Cybersecurity, CS or Software Engineering.
• Experience leading complex security investigations.
• Experience with endpoint, cloud, and identity-based investigations across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical insider risk investigations from intake to closure.
• Analyze telemetry data and indicators across regional infrastructure.
• Conduct interviews with employees and stakeholders across the AMS and other regions.
• Write thorough investigation reports aligned with global protocols and local context.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Engineering, PR, and Policy teams across the Americas.
• Monitor external threats and public disclosures stemming from internal actions.
• Identify and address regional detection gaps and help shape alerting logic.
• Maintain complete discretion handling sensitive data per privacy laws.
