Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Staff Global Supply Manager - Indirect to lead end-to-end procurement for software, SaaS, and other indirect categories. You will partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal and IT to develop global sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and ensure compliant supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, with focus on software/SaaS and other indirect categories.
• Proven success in multi-stakeholder negotiations and delivering cost savings or value improvements.
• Strong analytical skills, including cost modeling and total cost of ownership frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for financial/executive audiences.
• Experience at fast-growing technology companies with evolving procurement needs.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.
• Solid understanding of contract law for SaaS, MSAs, SOWs and NDAs.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for indirect categories including software, SaaS, professional services, IT, and contingent workforce.
• Develop global sourcing strategies balancing cost, risk, quality, and speed to market; run RFx processes to drive standardization.
• Manage a portfolio of indirect spend categories to scale with Aurora's growth.
• Advise internal stakeholders and align procurement strategy with business priorities.
• Collaborate with Legal on contract review, risk mitigation and compliance.
• Translate procurement decisions into executive-ready communications and present to leadership.
• Champion procurement best practices and standardized processes across units.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and establish KPIs to track supplier performance.
• Mitigate supplier risks and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships.
• Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve internal customer experience.
