Job summary

Aurora in Mountain View, CA is hiring a Staff Global Supply Manager - Indirect to lead end-to-end procurement for software, services, IT, and contingent labor across our indirect portfolio.

You'll partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, IT, and People teams, shaping global sourcing strategies, negotiating complex agreements, and driving cost savings in a high-growth tech environment. This role offers a hybrid work model with competitive pay and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience focusing on software/SaaS and indirect categories.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and deliver cost savings.
• Strong analytical capabilities including cost modeling and TCO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Experience in fast-growing technology companies with ambiguous procurement needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for indirect categories including software, SaaS, professional services, IT, and contingent workforce.
• Establish and own global sourcing strategies; develop cost models; run RFx processes.
• Manage a portfolio of indirect spend with focus on scalability.
• Partner with Legal for contract review, risk mitigation, and compliance.
• Translate procurement decisions into executive-ready communications.
• Champion procurement best practices and change management.
• Build and manage supplier relationships with QBRs and KPIs.
• Identify supplier risks and mitigate dependencies and financial risks.
• Drive process improvements; ensure compliance; support playbooks and ERP usage.
