Affirm, Inc. is seeking an experienced security leader to oversee global investigations and incident response as we expand internationally. You will guide major incidents, build operating practices, and scale capabilities across regions, while staying close to the technical work.

You will direct a deeply technical team, drive root-cause analyses, and shape AI-enabled investigation workflows with appropriate human oversight and safeguards.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in security operations or incident response.
• Proven ability to lead major security incidents and investigations in cloud-native environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive updates and board reporting.
• Experience managing and developing technical/engineering teams.
• Familiarity with fintech/payments security is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security incidents and investigations end-to-end across the lifecycle.
• Serve as incident commander for major events and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Guide investigations and root-cause analyses with engineering teams and ensure durable fixes.
• Develop a technical, engineering-focused incident response team and improve readiness.
• Define playbooks, escalation paths, and postmortems for consistent execution.
• Drive improvements to response tooling, telemetry, and AI-enabled workflows with safeguards.
• Translate security metrics into executive dashboards and risk reporting.
