Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Incident and Crisis Operations (Watch Commander) to lead the Global Security Operations Center in 24/7 risk management and crisis response. You will drive data-driven decisions, coach a 50+ person team, and ensure SLAs, policy compliance, and rapid incident handling across global operations.

You will navigate diverse regulatory environments, mentor executives, and coordinate across VP-level organizations to shape enterprise-wide security

Qualifications

• 10+ years in risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field with external stakeholders
• 7+ years of team management with 5+ direct reports
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in operations
• Experience in global companies with multi-country responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomously and use discretion with sensitive information
• Apply sound business principles to identify barriers and resolve escalations
• Collaborate across organizations to resolve undefined problems and risk strategies
• Mentor and develop the team while working with limited guidance
• Own a complex risk intake process
