Job summary

Alexandria International Inc is seeking an Import Analyst to join our Adairsville, GA team. You will manage and optimize international import operations, ensuring compliant movement of goods across borders in a fast-paced global trade environment.

The role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and finance teams, ensuring timely shipments and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with customs entry filing and working with licensed customs brokers is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with trade management software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process import documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs entries
• Ensure compliance with U.S. CBP regulations and trade laws
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to facilitate timely shipment clearance
• Monitor and track inbound international shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies
• Classify goods using HTS codes and manage duty assessments
• Maintain accurate import records and prepare reports on shipment status and compliance metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams including purchasing, logistics, and finance to support supply chain operations
