Job summary

Expeditors is a global logistics company seeking an Import Department professional to ensure timely movement of freight and accurate data entry, while delivering exceptional customer service in Import operations.

You will track and trace import files, ensure documents are sent for customs, and maintain strong relationships with customers and service providers, while meeting KPI standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Understanding of air/ocean documentation process is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Proactive, strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information within the Import Department.
• Track and trace Import files and enter data into our operating system.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers and timely submission of documents for customs.
• Interact with customers and suppliers to arrange international shipments and maintain relationships.
• Meet KPI standards and comply with OPS and external regulations.
