Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in import, logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or related operations.
• Ocean freight experience preferred.
• Airline freight or air carrier coordination experience preferred.
• Experience communicating with ocean carriers, airlines, freight forwarders, vendors, or international partners preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook required.
• Microsoft Office application experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong grammar, spelling, and attention to detail required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Reliable, detail-focused, and professional approach.
• Ability to work in a small, fast-paced, international logistics environment.
• Ability to work with employees, partners, and customers from different backgrounds and locations.
• Mandarin bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work onsite in City of Industry, CA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments and communicate with ocean lines, airlines, freight forwarders, vendors, and internal teams.
• Track shipment status from origin through final delivery.
• Review and maintain import documentation, records, and operational files.
• Assist with shipment scheduling and coordination.
• Help resolve logistics issues and shipment-related questions.
• Provide timely updates regarding shipment status, delays, and delivery expectations.
• Perform data entry and administrative support related to import operations.
• Prepare professional emails and correspondence with strong grammar and spelling.
