Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Supervisor, Logistics (Import/Export) to lead daily international shipment operations and ensure compliant, on-time delivery. You will partner with carriers, brokers and internal teams to stream material flow while guiding a small team in documentation and trade compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in import/export operations, with experience coordinating with freight forwarders and brokers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in import/export operations and trade compliance.
• 2+ years coordinating with freight forwarders and brokers.
• 2+ years leading teams or supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily import/export operations and documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers.
• Ensure accuracy and retention of trade documents (invoices, HTS codes, origin certificates).
• Monitor shipment status and resolve customs holds; mitigate delivery risks.
• Ensure compliance with US customs and trade regulations (CBP, C-TPAT, USMCA) and DOT requirements.
• Develop a small team supporting shipping/receiving documentation.
• Maintain trade-compliance records for audits.
