Job summary

Elsdon Group in Erlanger, KY is seeking an Import Coordinator to manage daily coordination of international import shipments. You will work with customers, overseas offices, carriers, and brokers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Experience handling Air and/or Ocean Imports.
• CargoWise experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Air and/or Ocean import shipments from origin to delivery.
• Manage shipment documentation including invoices, B/Ls, and arrival notices.
• Track shipments and provide customers with updates.
• Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and trucking providers.
• Enter and maintain shipment information in CargoWise.
• Monitor milestones and resolve delays or issues.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulations.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding status.
• Assist with billing and shipment close-out.
• Maintain accurate records and high level of service.
