Job summary

CME Group is seeking a Senior Immigration Specialist to own the global immigration program, ensuring flawless case execution and high-touch employee support across U.S. and international visa matters.

You will bridge internal and external legal counsel, HR, and Talent Acquisition, proactively manage stakeholders, and deliver regular program updates to leadership with clear cross-functional communications for compliance and alignment.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of hands-on U.S. employment-based immigration case experience (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, Green Cards/PERM).
• Direct end-to-end PERM/Labor Certification ownership including recruitment steps and audits.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with leadership reporting experience.
• Highly organized with accountability and vendor management skills.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS (Workday) and immigration case management systems.
• Knowledge of Form I-9, E-Verify, and global travel visa requirements.
• Bachelor's degree; Paralegal SHRM or mobility credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Process Ownership of CME Group's daily immigration operations across all visa types and locations.
• Active Stakeholder Management guiding HR, Talent Acquisition and employees through visa timelines and risks.
• Leadership updates translating case statuses and regulatory shifts into actionable reports.
• Design and deliver clear, employee-centric immigration communications.
• Act as primary contact for external counsel and vendors; ensure SLA adherence and case progression.
• Review and validate petitions, PERM applications for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit and process external immigration invoices; maintain budget discipline.
• Maintain compliance for Form I-9/E-Verify, LCAs and PAFs; monitor postings.
• Triage immigration mailbox and JIRA queue; ensure timely response times.
• Direct data transfers between Workday, vendor portals and case management tools.
• Assess immigration requirements for international business travel and issue support letters.
