Job summary

TikTok is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support Global R&D engineering, security, and privacy teams. You will partner with leadership to align HR strategy with roadmaps across time zones, while coaching leaders on organizational design and talent planning.

Ideal candidates bring Mandarin-English fluency, strong data analytics skills, and a track record of scaling HR programs in a fast-growing tech environment. This role emphasizes regulatory readiness and psychological safety.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Human Resources with 2+ years as HR Business Partner.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin for APAC collaboration.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Privacy, Security, or Trust & Safety teams.
• Experience leading talent management, org design, and performance management in high-growth environments.
• Proficient in data analysis to influence HR programs and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute an HR strategy supporting engineering, security, and privacy roadmaps.
• Act as primary HRBP for a global department across multiple time zones.
• Coach leaders on organizational design to adapt to regulatory pressures and security initiatives.
• Advise on talent assessment, career paths, and succession for specialized roles.
• Lead complex employee relations issues with a focus on mitigating risk and fostering psychological safety.
• Oversee full-cycle performance management, tailoring goal-setting and calibration.
• Leverage data to provide insights on team health and retention bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with CoEs to design compensation, engagement, and talent acquisition solutions.
