Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking an HR Specialist II to support the DGHP Office of the Director and its branches, handling advertising, SoW/PD preparation, and coordination with CDC-HRO for PD classification. The role requires facilitating onboarding, staff placement, and PMAS-related actions across global teams.

The position emphasizes compliance with federal HR regulations, appropriations law, and standard MS Office tools, with a focus on international workforce procedures and contractual

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience performing listed tasks.
• Must be able to obtain a Government Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with onboarding and personnel actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal/external advertising for vacant/detail positions for DGHP teams, program, and branches.
• Coordinate with Branch Chief and senior staff to finalize Statements of Work (SoW) and Position Descriptions (PD) for posting.
• Identify appropriate PDs for job functions across career series and classify new PDs with CDC-HRO.
• Prepare and track PMAS, PARs, and onboarding actions for DGHP staff.
• Provide onboarding guidance for global workforce and inform staff on relocation procedures.
