Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Global Purchasing Senior Specialist to coordinate and lead financial and vendor management for HR across multiple countries. You will manage PO lifecycle in SAP/Ariba, monitor invoices, and ensure payments on time while aligning with BMS policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with financial/budget management.
• Experience in PO/vendor payment processing using SAP/Ariba.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization with strong organizational skills.
• Advanced data analysis and Excel capabilities with complex reporting.
• Excellent communication across regional remote teams.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Proactively executing and coordinating the Purchase to Pay process for People Organization with HR and regional teams.
• Manage full life cycle of Purchase Orders in SAP/Ariba including creation, maintenance, payments, and closure.
• Monitor invoices to ensure timely payments and track against budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial variance reports and communicate results.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Global Payments, Finance, Procurement and HR to ensure compliant payments.
• Provide SME guidance on Procurement, Finance policies, including SAP, Ariba, and Icertis.
• Support harmonization of acquired companies’ benefits and compensation.
