Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an HR Consultant for HR for HR in Houston to partner with the global People & Culture organization. The role focuses on annual HR processes, employee data handling, and stakeholder coordination across levels and geographies.

You will lead inquiries, maintain organized records, and support process improvements while building capability in HR operations and communications. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field is required.
• Relevant coursework or training in HR, project coordination, facilitation, data analysis, communications preferred.
• Professional HR certification through HRCI or SHRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual HR processes and budgeting activities with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support HR Connection activities as a team lead, routing questions to the appropriate HR SME.
• Maintain knowledge of LYB HR policies, processes, systems, and annual-cycle requirements.
• Produce clear presentations and materials using PowerPoint and Excel; assist with intranet content.
• Support development of HR content for web pages and intranet, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
