Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking an HR Business Partner to manage lifecycle HR processes for colleagues across eight locations, including Karachi. You will oversee onboarding, development, and separation, and support performance management while maintaining HR standards and data integrity.

You will handle HR inquiries, conduct audits, and lead projects such as role changes, rotations, mobility, and flexible/remote working programs, in collaboration with Legal, Payroll, and Talent Management.

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in HR or related field.
• 2+ years of general HR experience.
• Familiarity with HR/people systems (e.g., SAP, People Central).
• Strong problem-solving and ability to manage ambiguity with a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding project management and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with people in a fair, inclusive and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage key HR elements across the lifecycle for colleagues in a subset of our eight locations.
• Oversee administration of essential HR processes and programs with risk management focus.
• Support onboarding, development, and separation processes, including performance management support.
• Address HR inquiries, escalate issues, and conduct regular audits and analyses.
• Lead onboarding (Day One experience) and offboarding, HR events, and program administration.
• Provide policy guidance and risk management communications to leadership.
• Assist in nationalization efforts and cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Mobility, Payroll, and Talent Management.
