AppleOne Employment Services in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to own the site’s HR function, support local employees, and coordinate with headquarters in Japan.

You will lead full-cycle recruiting, manage payroll liaison duties, ensure compliance with U.S. laws, and partner with leadership to implement consistent people practices. This role offers autonomy and exposure to international operations in a real estate and property management context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years HR experience preferred, with hands-on generalist background.
• Experience serving as sole/lead HR contact for a unit, site, or subsidiary.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment law, wage-and-hour requirements, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations for the local subsidiary, including documentation and record-keeping.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, including interviewing and onboarding.
• Serve as liaison to payroll vendor, reviewing data and coordinating corrections.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. employment laws and required filings.
• Partner with HQ HR in Japan on employee relations and HR initiatives.
• Support expatriate and assignee administration as needed.
