Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. seeks a Human Resources Specialist to join the Global HR Team. You will perform professional HR work, support accountability and service focus, and help improve work efficiency across the department.

The position can be based in Charlotte, NC; Tempe, AZ; or Columbus, IN, with occasional travel. Responsibilities include supporting projects, interviewing, onboarding, records management, and compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Human Resources strongly preferred.
1-2 years’ HR experience with legal/analytical focus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Workday experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Assist HR projects, summarize information, and recommend actions.
Investigate employee concerns and advise on courses of action.
Post jobs, screen candidates, schedule pre-placement exams, and onboard new hires.
Research legislation affecting workers' compensation and HR practices.
Maintain HR records by documenting incidents and resolutions.
Support compliance on employment and workers' compensation laws.
Develop and maintain confidential files using electronic systems.
Provide administrative support to HR team as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
