Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio, seeks a Hire to Retire Global Process Owner to lead the design, governance, and standardization of the H2R lifecycle across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and offboarding. The role partners across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and service delivery to drive modernization and compliance.

The GPO will drive data-driven improvements, automation, and governance frameworks to deliver scalable, efficient HR processes with an enhanced employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global H2R vision and strategy, serving as the single point of accountability for end to end process governance across recruiting, onboarding, development, payroll, and offboarding.
• Establish and maintain global H2R policies, controls, and service standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Coach and develop next level leaders and process SMEs, building organizational capability and ensuring high quality, reliable service delivery across regions and functions.
• Design and standardize H2R processes, data models, and executional policies to support scalability, accuracy, and operational excellence. Deploy automation, self service, and analytics tools—including employee portals, workflow automation, and AI enabled support—to enhance speed, transparency, and user experience.
• Drive continuous improvement and process mining initiatives to simplify complexity, enhance productivity, and elevate the employee experience.

Education

Bachelor’s in HR or Business

Master’s (MBA/HRM) or certs (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)
