Job summary

Grünenthal is seeking a Global HEOR Lead to shape and execute Health Economics and Outcomes Research strategies that drive reimbursement and patient access for pipeline and in-market assets.

You will collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and R&D to embed payer-relevant endpoints, lead evidence-generation projects, and guide HTA submissions across regions. A strong track record in HEOR and global insights is essential.

Qualifications

  • An advanced university degree, at Masters level or above, in economics, pharmaceuticals, public health or a related discipline
  • Approximately 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in HEOR and Real-World Evidence
  • A strong track record in developing and publishing economic models and real-world evidence for market access purposes
  • Experience leading early payer engagement and successful HTA submissions that achieved meaningful value recognition
  • Experience managing complex projects within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Experience within speciality medicine
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to connect local competitive considerations with global and international priorities
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity, uncertainty and complexity in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and innovative approach to evidence generation, economic modelling, pricing and market access
  • Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Developing integrated evidence strategies including Real-World Evidence and economic modelling to meet payer and country needs
  • Partnering with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Asset Teams and R&D Project Teams to embed payer-relevant endpoints and patient-reported outcomes into clinical development programmes
  • Co-leading evidence-generation projects and communicating results through publications, conference presentations and other relevant channels
  • Driving early payer engagement and supporting successful Health Technology Assessment submissions, including AMNOG, NICE and JCA
  • Leading the development of economic models, value materials and innovative tools that support launch preparation, payer negotiations and local market access
  • Integrating country requirements into global strategies to enable successful commercialisation at affiliate level
  • Building strong relationships with external health economic experts, clinical opinion leaders, policymakers, organisations and industry peers
  • Strengthening HEOR capabilities and supporting the development of a broader Market Access advisory network across the organisation
