Job summary

AstraZeneca in Massachusetts seeks a senior leader to shape and execute the product strategy for Hematology Oncology projects. You will lead cross-functional teams through preclinical to late-stage development, champion candidate therapies, and secure governance and resources for execution with clear milestones.

You will collaborate with scientific and clinical leaders, manage timelines and budgets, and communicate the strategy to internal and external audiences with credibility and clarity.

Qualifications

• M.D. or Ph.D. with minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
• Experience in drug development including early and late phase development and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of the Hematology-Oncology therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development teams for Hematology Oncology therapies from preclinical to Phase 3.
• Accountable for delivery of projects according to quality, time, budgets, and resources.
• Build strategic and coordinated product development plans aligned with objectives.
• Execute the coordinated product plan within scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead governance meetings and communicate with internal management and external collaborators.
• Oversee preclinical to PoC activities and cross-functional coordination.
