Job summary

AstraZeneca in the US is seeking a Director of Hematology Ambition & Disease Strategy based in Gaithersburg or remote. You will lead strategic marketing initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and elevate our hematology leadership through innovative disease education and customer solutions for HCPs and patients.

You will drive external campaigns, events at major congresses, and measurement of impact, reporting to the Head of Key Customer Engagement to advance AstraZeneca’s blood cancer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA and/or other advanced credentials a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in US pharma and/or healthcare industry with experience in marketing, sales, strategic planning, operations, project management, medical affairs.
• 5+ years of experience in Oncology therapeutic area.
• 3+ years in inline HCP or patient marketing, corporate strategy, or brand leadership.
• Strong project management, leadership, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Hematology Ambition strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Lead partnership with marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and advocacy.
• Identify and address market challenges and opportunities.
• Oversee Hematology Ambition website and assets, aligning with future needs.
• Develop strategic assets and tactics to reinforce leadership in hematology.
