Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Help Desk Technician to maintain end-user workstations and support LAN performance across locations in three countries. The role includes asset management and user training to ensure optimal productivity.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of help desk experience, strong Windows/Office skills, and the ability to provide remote support. On-site Mesa, AZ duties include equipment handling and user orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of help desk experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to provide remote support via e-mail, phone, and remote desktop connection.
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs and related hardware/software.
• Prioritize and organize resources.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical info to nontechnical users.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Administers end-user workstations and supports activities using TCP/IP on a Windows-based LAN.
• Establishes voice and e-mail accounts for new users; orients new staff.
• Manages help desk tickets; prioritizes and assigns tasks.
• Investigates user problems, tests solutions and implements them.
• Acts as liaison with printers, telecoms and mobile vendors.
• Manages IT assets; stores, labels, installs hardware/software, supports moves.
• Recommends new software to improve processes.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
