Job summary

J.P. Morgan Alternative Fund Services (AFS) seeks a skilled fund accounting professional in Boston to maintain books for Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity funds and ensure accurate NAVs and investor reporting.

Responsibilities include reviewing governing documents, overseeing capital calls and distributions, and coordinating with investor relations and other teams to meet SLAs and deliver accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3+ years in an accounting role, preferably Big 4/PE/fund admin.
• Knowledge of US GAAP for investment funds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity funds.
• Review fund governing documents; set up and maintain fund structures in accounting database.
• Prepare/ review NAVs, management fees, carried interest, investor allocations, and capital accounts.
