Job summary

J.P. Morgan Alternative Fund Services (AFS) in New York is seeking a Private Equity Fund Admin Associate to support daily client deliverables for private equity fund administration assignments.

You will assist with books and records upkeep, NAV computations, financial statement preparation, capital events, management fees and carried interest, investor capital allocations, and year-end coordination with audit and tax teams, while managing SLAs and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) with 4+ years in Private Equity fund administration.
• Knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds and PE fund structures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA.

Responsibilities

• Support all client deliverables for Private Equity fund admin, including timelines and issues.
• Stay updated on industry standards and improve efficiency and risk controls.
• Coordinate with risk, audit, compliance, investor relations, and operations.
• Ensure adherence to control framework and policies.
• Assist in ad hoc client projects and internal initiatives.
• Provide supervision on technical topics and client-related issues.
• Review governing documents to assess reporting impact.
