Job summary

J.P. Morgan Alternative Fund Services is seeking a Vice President to lead fund accounting for Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity funds, ensuring accurate NAVs, fee calculations, and investor allocations across global clients.

You will supervise governance, capital calls, distributions, and capital reporting while mentoring a growing team and driving efficiency improvements within a robust control framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 7+ years in accounting or fund administration with leadership progression.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds.
• Deep familiarity with Private Equity & Hedge fund structures.
• Proven analytical thinker with attention to detail under pressure and multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational and client service skills; able to lead projects to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee maintenance of books and records for Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity funds; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve fund governing documents; ensure proper setup and ongoing maintenance in accounting system.
• Supervise preparation and review of NAVs, fees, carried interest, investor allocations, and capital statements.
• Oversee capital calls and distributions, including investor notices and reconciliation of proceeds.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations for capital notices and quarterly investor reporting.
• Manage client relationships, set expectations, and ensure timely deliverables per SLA.
• Serve as liaison with risk, audit, tax, compliance, and investor relations teams.
• Mentor and develop team members to drive high performance and growth.
• Drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and service.
