JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Associate in its Alternative Fund Services group in Boston.

The role involves maintaining books and records for Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity funds, preparing NAVs, fee calculations, and capital calls, while coordinating with Investor Relations and other internal teams to meet SLAs. Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, and strong Excel skills, with knowledge of US GAAP for investment funds and PE/hedge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds.
• Familiar with Private Equity & Hedge fund structures.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the books and records of Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity funds.
• Review fund governing documents and ensure correct set-up and maintenance of fund structures and investments in accounting database.
• Prepare and review periodic Net Asset Valuations, management fee and carried interest/performance fee calculations, investor allocations and capital account statements.
• Prepare and review capital call and distribution calculations including investor notices and reconcile call proceeds and distribution payments.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations and quarterly reporting on investor reporting portal.
• Liaise with risk, control groups, audit, tax, compliance, implementation and investor relations.
