Job summary

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP seeks an Associate Director, Technology Learning & Adoption in the Information Services Department. The role leads the global Learning & Adoption team from the New York office at Hudson Yards, collaborating with Technology Support, Applications, Infrastructure, Knowledge Management and stakeholders to drive adoption of technology investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology support, user engagement, learning and development, or related field in the legal industry.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience leading enterprise technology implementations and adoption initiatives.
• Experience developing communication strategies, learning programs and user engagement initiatives.
• Excellent executive presence and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the firm's technology learning strategies.
• Promote best practices that improve technology proficiency and productivity.
• Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve learning programs.
• Champion the voice of lawyers and professional staff throughout technology initiatives.
• Conduct outreach to understand user needs through meetings, surveys, interviews and focus groups.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to improve usability, productivity and satisfaction.
• Develop and monitor user engagement and satisfaction metrics.
• Advocate for user needs during planning, implementation and post‑launch activities.
• Develop communication strategies supporting technology initiatives.
• Coordinate newsletters, announcements, quick tips, awareness campaigns and release communications.
• Partner with project teams before, during and after technology implementations.
• Lead the firm's technology quality assurance program.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate documentation, training materials and support resources.
• Develop quality standards and readiness metrics.
• Develop enterprise technology adoption strategies.
• Monitor adoption metrics, engagement and learning effectiveness.
• Analyze support trends and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the team of training and quality assurance professionals.
• Manage departmental priorities, resources and professional development.
• Partner with Information Services leadership and business stakeholders.
• Represent Information Services on strategic initiatives and governance groups.
