Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to serve as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, reporting to the CLO/CCO and guiding legal strategy across the US and international jurisdictions for Product, Regulatory, Licensing, Litigation and Enforcement.

You will build and lead a team of attorneys and professionals, partner with the executive team, manage risk and outside counsel, and provide strategic counsel to ensure compliant, scalable growth in a fast‑growing fintech.

Qualifications

• Mastery in strategic legal planning and risk management.
• Experience guiding legal strategy for fintech or tech products and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive legal strategy for Product, Regulatory, Licensing, Litigation, and Enforcement across US and international jurisdictions.
• Counsel executive leadership, boards, and regulators; manage external counsel and budgets.
• Partner with Product, Technology and Operations to guide compliant product development and regulatory strategy.
