Job summary

ViiV Healthcare, a global HIV specialist, seeks a Senior Director of Pipeline and Product Communications to own the global communications strategy for its HIV portfolio and pipeline. The role partners with senior R&D and Medical leaders and will shape narratives around data, regulatory milestones and launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree & 10+ years in pharma/healthcare communications.
• People management experience.
• Experience developing, implementing and measuring external communications strategies.
• Experience creating leadership content (articles, social posts, speeches, video scripts).
• Experience with media relations and organic/paid/social media.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across functions and cultures.
• Strong project management in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead global pipeline and product communications strategy, priorities, and cadence for internal and external comms.
• Provide trusted counsel to senior leaders on reputation, narrative, issues management and external dynamics.
• Oversee readiness for launches, including milestone planning, stakeholder engagement, and executive prep.
• Develop enterprise view of pipeline, portfolio, launch milestones, data, regulatory decisions and partnerships.
• Produce high-quality communications content: press releases, statements, Q&As, social, leadership materials and launch comms.
• Lead internal communications to build understanding and pride in transformation into the LAI Powerhouse.
• Prepare spokespeople to articulate ViiV's science and pipeline to external audiences.
• Collaborate with GSK Communications, Investor Relations and Corporate teams to ensure cohesive external storytelling.
