Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a seasoned executive to lead People Strategy and Enablement, driving global HR operations, AI governance, and analytics across the organization. The role partners with the CPO to modernize the HR tech stack, scale shared services, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering measurable business impact.

You will shape the People technology roadmap, oversee cross‑functional programs, and lead a global team to enable a faster, more data‑driven People function across

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in HR, HR operations, or people analytics.
• 5+ years leading global teams at director level or above.
• Experience driving transformation across process, technology and service delivery.
• Ownership of an enterprise HR technology portfolio.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI or ML in an HR context with governance considerations.
• Strong people analytics fluency and ability to translate analysis into executive decisions.
• Experience operating across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC) with privacy requirements.
• Proven executive communication skills, including presenting to C-suite and Board.
• Experience managing significant budgets and complex vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define and scale the global People operating model, systems, and digital enablement.
• Oversee People operations across the full employee lifecycle with consistency and quality.
• Lead modernization of the People technology ecosystem and automation.
• Develop and execute the roadmap for shared services globally.
• Build AI governance and responsible deployment of AI assistants for employees and managers.
• Establish KPIs and governance for data, risk, and compliance.
