Job summary

Rasa is seeking a Director of People Operations and Talent Acquisition to lead the full employee lifecycle for a global, remote-first team. You will work with the ELT to design org structure, manage employee relations across countries, and own onboarding, HRIS, and PEO partnerships.

You’ll drive engagement, compensation benchmarking, and multi-country compliance while leading a growing People Operations team and shaping Talent Acquisition strategy for executive and senior roles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in People Operations and/or Talent Acquisition, with 2+ years' experience leading both functions at a global start‑up.
• Hands-on technical recruiting experience, including senior and executive hires.
• Experience supporting a global, distributed workforce, ideally including US multi-state and UK/EU employment practices.

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO and ELT on org design, workforce planning and change management, and partner on company-wide people communications.
• Handle complex employee relations matters across multiple countries, including performance improvement plans, separations and terminations, with outside counsel as needed.
• Own people operations: onboarding, leave administration, onboarding HRIS (BambooHR), PEO relationship (Sequoia One) and multi-country compliance.
• Run the performance and career framework cycle, including reviews and manager enablement.
• Drive engagement and retention through pulse surveys and retention strategy for key talent.
• Lead hiring across the company, including executive searches, and own the recruiting process and tools (Ashby).
• Lead and develop the People Operations team.
