Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a Head of Corporate IT to lead the technology services used by our global workforce. You will own workforce identity and access, employee devices, company-wide SaaS applications, collaboration tools, business networks, employee tech support, vendor management, technology spend, and audit readiness.

This hands-on role will lead a lean distributed team with one IT role in China and one in India, while continuing to own important work directly.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ownership of multiple enterprise technology domains.
• Auditable technology controls while preserving productivity.
• Strong written and asynchronous cross-country coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, security, and employee experience of workforce IT.
• Establish a measurable service model with clear ownership and processes.
• Set global tech standards and coordinate across US, China, and India.
• Build onboarding/offboarding processes with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the corporate IT function and reduce key-person risk.
• Manage vendors, contracts, renewals, spend, and exit plans.
• Own SOC 2 controls and audit evidence for compliance.
• Turn recurring issues into documented fixes and automation.
• Roadmap planning using demand, risk, cost, and operating data.
• Collaborate with product software, Security, People, Finance teams.
