Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of HR Operations to transform HR into a strategic, insights-driven function. You will oversee HR systems, process optimization, and service delivery to enable scalable, compliant operations that support the business and workforce.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive a data-driven agenda, and partner with IT, Compliance, and Finance to shape an enterprise HR technology roadmap and improve employee experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in HR Operations, HR Technology, or HR Shared Services, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep expertise in HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Proven ability to design and execute an HR operations strategy that enhances efficiency and service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of HR data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements in a global organization.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to drive operational efficiencies.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
• Strong ability to leverage data and technology to inform and drive strategic HR decisions.
• Background in AI-driven HR solutions, automation, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for HR Operations that aligns with business priorities.
• Lead initiatives to streamline, automate, and standardize HR processes.
• Transform HR operations into a data-driven advisory function for leaders.
• Ensure HR processes are scalable, globally compliant, and integrated with HRIS tools.
• Partner with IT and HR to drive improvements and automation for workforce needs.
• Oversee selection and implementation of new HR technologies to enhance employee experience.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and governance across HR systems.
• Build a best-in-class HR service delivery model with strong user experience.
• Identify opportunities to leverage self-service tools, chatbots, and AI solutions.
• Monitor and optimize benefits administration, compliance, onboarding, and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and feedback to boost HR value.
