Ladders is seeking a Global Head of Data Privacy Diagnostics to lead privacy strategy for a healthcare diagnostics business. This remote leadership role reports to executives and spans multiple regions, guiding privacy across data-driven products, AI initiatives, and business processes.

You will build a scalable privacy organization, oversee governance, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver risk-based, compliant solutions that enable growth and responsible data use.

For our client, we are seeking a Global Head of Data Privacy Diagnostics to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. In this remote leadership role, you will shape the global privacy strategy for a diagnostics business operating at scale across multiple regions. You will guide how privacy is built into data-driven products, AI initiatives, and business processes while helping the organization move forward with growth and digital transformation. This position partners closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to create practical, risk-based solutions that support innovation and responsible data use.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $238,910 – $328,504 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global data privacy strategy for the diagnostics business to support growth and digital transformation.
• Build and evolve a scalable, risk-based privacy organization and governance framework across regions and functions.
• Lead and develop a small, globally distributed team, promoting collaboration and continuous growth.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating privacy requirements into business-enabling solutions.
• Drive privacy-by-design principles across AI, analytics, and product development for ethical data use.
• Oversee the global privacy management system, including policies, tools, and performance metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable innovative business models and global data collaborations.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Privacy, IT Law, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field; privacy certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E or CIPM preferred.
• Several years of hands-on experience in data privacy, compliance, or regulatory leadership in healthcare or regulated industries.
• Experience leading global privacy programs and governance frameworks in senior roles such as Global Head of Privacy or Group DPO.
• Deep expertise in GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA, and international data protection regulations.
• Extensive experience in privacy risk management, incident response, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Strong knowledge of Privacy by Design principles and experience with data-driven products and AI solutions.
