CrowdStrike is seeking an executive-level leader tofound and guide a Data Platform Enablement function. You will shape the charter, hire senior engineers, and drive platform-wide automation, tooling, and governance.

The role emphasizes reliability, cost discipline, and compliance across multiple data domains in a high-growth environment. This hybrid role partners with global data teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities, guardrails, and self-serve tooling that unlocks other teams to move

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with leadership of teams
• Experience building and growing platform/infrastructure teams in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on in SRE with large-scale distributed systems and capacity planning
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management
• Ownership of infrastructure cost portfolios and optimization efforts
• Experience applying AI to reliability and operations

Responsibilities

• Stand up and lead the Data Platform Enablement team; define operating model and hire senior engineers
• Grow the team into several domain-aligned groups and set technical bar for tooling and guardrails
• Own org design, sequencing teams, and charter alignment with platform risk
• Drive Cloud Expansion Automation across regional and sovereign deployments
• Create End-to-End Validation and Continuous Health checks spanning sensor to query
• Establish Observability, incident response, and cost governance for the data platform
• Lead Data Residency, compliance automation, and executive storytelling for reliability
• Influence across engineering leaders to gain adoption without formal reporting lines
