Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks a Senior Director of Data & Analytics to lead global data and analytics, owning enterprise data strategy and a multi-year investment roadmap. You will guide data architecture, engineering, governance, analytics, data science, and ML engineering as a connected function, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering or analytics and leadership of data teams.
• Strong enterprise data architecture, lakehouse platforms, and ETL/ELT experience.
• Deep experience with Databricks, Azure, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Knowledge of ML, MLOps, AI governance, and data residency requirements.
• Proven track record delivering data products with measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise data strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Oversee architecture, governance, analytics, data science, and ML engineering.
• Ensure Databricks/Azure lakehouse security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead vendor management, platform optimization, and tech debt reduction.
• Translate technical priorities into measurable business value across regions.
