Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a Senior Director of Data & Analytics to lead the enterprise data strategy, architecture, governance, and analytics across the firm. You will own the data estate vision and drive investment in secure, scalable data platforms and AI capabilities.

The role requires broad leadership of data engineering, science, and ML initiatives, with accountability for cost efficiency and trusted data products that enable measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data science with cloud experience.
• 5+ years in senior leadership managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong enterprise data architecture, lakehouse platforms, and data governance.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Knowledge of ML, MLOps, AI governance, and data residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise data strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Oversee data architecture, engineering, governance, analytics, and data platforms.
• Own Databricks and Azure lakehouse architecture, security, and cost management.
• Set standards for data integration, modeling, quality, metadata, and compliance.
• Direct ML engineering and MLOps to production-ready data products.
• Lead global teams across regions and time zones with strong stakeholder alignment.
